Pastor Lee V. Matthews, Sr. (Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church), husband of our former member, Mrs. Katherine Mathews and uncle of our pastor, Pastor Mitchell Steen, passed away on Tuesday, November 4th. Visitation will be held at Eddie Robinson Funeral Chapel, 1196 South Mound Street * Grenada, MS on Friday. Homegoing Celebration Services will convene Saturday, November 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the Water Valley City Auditorium, 905 North Main Street * Water Valley, MS.Please remember his entire family in your prayers and feel free to express sentiments on this website for them to view.
