Love Stirs it Up

Love ever gives,
Forgives, outlives,
And ever stands with open hands. And while it lives, It gives.
For this is love's prerogative— O give, and give, and give.
                                -John Oxenham (1861–1941)

…and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.               Ep.5:2
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.    Col.3:14
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.   Pr.17:17
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:    If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!   Ec.4:9-10

Did you know that there are four kinds of love, but only one activates faith in God. The first type is physical love, eros. This love is the love of physical attraction, when the body wants to have a party. This is not the love that makes faith work. It will pull your faith away from God. The second type is philos, affectionate love. This is warm-hearted affection in relationships and friendships. The third type of love is family love (stoge), the fondest shown for relatives. These three kinds of love are all operated in the natural. The fourth type is the love of God, agape love. This is the love that makes faith work. This is spiritual love. The expression of love is manifested in faith and action. When the anointing takes over inside of love, everything flows. This love is motivated by truth, freedom, and divine nature. It comes from God to man, then from man to God. It is also the love that spiritual people use to express themselves to one another. Put into action, this sends you to another level. Even if a person does not appeal to us, we can still show them agape love. (I John 4:7) Beloved means those who God's love dwells in. Christians love each other. We receive the love of God, and we have to express it. God is love, and he sent His only Son that we might live through Him and have His power. To live through God is to let the anointing flow through you. The anointing will always increase you. The increase will be an indication that love is at work. Don't live life in the flesh. Live it in spiritual faith. Live it in love.

Isaiah 43:18-21 (The Message) 16-21This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves, The God who summons horses and chariots and armies— they lie down and then can't get up; they're snuffed out like so many candles: "Forget about what's happened; don't keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I'm about to do something brand-new. It's bursting out! Don't you see it? There it is! I'm making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. Wild animals will say 'Thank you!' —the coyotes and the buzzards— Because I provided water in the desert, rivers through the sun-baked earth, Drinking water for the people I chose, the people I made especially for myself, a people custom-made to praise me.
